National Labor Force Survey Data Collection (Sakernas) of August 2024

In August 2024, starting on August 8 to 31, 2024, BPS Ketapang Regency conducted the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas).

Sakernas is one of the most important sources of labor data in Indonesia. Sakernas data has been widely used by various groups, both at home and abroad. Therefore, the continuity of the availability and quality of Sakernas data must be maintained and improved.

In particular, Sakernas August 2024 aims to obtain representative estimates of the working population, unemployment, and other labor indicators and their development at the national, provincial, and district/city levels. Since 2024, the implementation of Sakernas has used the CAPI (Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing) mode.
