As a continuation of the Desa Cantik (Cinta Statistik) program in Negeri Baru Village, Benua Kayong District, BPS Ketapang Regency visited the village office together with representatives of the Desa Cantik Team of BPS West Kalimantan Province, Fitri Sulastri, S.ST., M.Si. This visit aimed to further discuss the sustainability of the activities and the role of each party in the implementation of the program.

During the meeting, the Desa Cantik Team explained various technical and operational aspects of the Desa Cantik program. Discussions included activity schedules, data collection methods, data processing and analysis strategies, and ways to improve statistical literacy among village communities. On the other hand, it was also confirmed regarding the progress of the Desa Cantik 2023 coaching results, which were implemented by conducting data entry of KK residents in Negeri Baru Village.

Coordination between BPS Ketapang Regency and the village resulted in the need for further development of the village website. After a discussion with the Desa Cantik Team of BPS West Kalimantan Province, it was concluded that Negeri Baru Village should be reconsidered for further development. With effective communication and a clear division of tasks, the Desa Cantik program in Negeri Baru Village in the future can become an inspiring model for other regions by considering the results of the previous year's implementation evaluation in an effort to improve statistical literacy and empower village communities. The coordination ended with the awarding of certificates for participation in the Village Love Statistics 2023 Program of West Kalimantan Province.
