Abstract

Inflation that occurred in May 2012 due to the increase in the index of 5 (five) groups of expenditure and a decrease in the index of 1 (one) group expenditure. Expenditure groups namely the index increased by 2.91 percent in Food, Food, Beverages, Cigarettes and Tobacco by 0.01 percent, the group Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas & Fuel 0.64 percent, Clothing group of 0, 42 percent, Health group by 1.14 percent. Expenditure group index declines namely the Transport, Communications, and Financial Services at -0.41 percent, while the group Education, Recreation and Sports did not change the index.
