Abstract

Inflation that occurred in March 2013 due to an increase in the index in five (5) types of expenses and a decrease in the index of 2 (two) groups of expenditure. Expenditure groups namely the index increased by 1.17 percent in Food, Food, Beverages, Cigarettes and Tobacco by 2.73 per cent, the group Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas & Fuel of 0.88 percent, amounting Clothing 0.04 percent, 1.72 percent for Health group. While expenditure group index declines namely the Education, Recreation and Sports of -0.01 percent, and the group Transport, Communications, and Financial Services at -0.55 percent.
